Rotten Tomatoes Freshness: 60%

Daily Mirror: “The film wrings the last drops from the franchise, with that Romeo and Juliet – or that should that be Romero and Juliet? – plot twist making for a flick likely to delight horror fans.”

Frost/Nixon

Directed by: Ron Howard

Plot: Three years after resigning the presidency, Richard Nixon agrees to do an interview with British TV personality David Frost discussing Watergate and the other troubles that befell him.

Revolutionary Road

Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Kathy Bates

Directed by: Sam Mendes

Plot: Frank and April start out with a storybook marriage but the pressures build and begin to slowly destroy it.

RT Freshness: 67%

Critic Consensus: “Brilliantly acted and emotionally powerful, Revolutionary Road is a handsome adaptation of Richard Yates’ celebrated novel.”

Inkheart

Starring: Brendan Fraser, Helen Mirren, Paul Bettany, Jim Broadbent

Directed by: Iain Softley

Plot: Anything that Brendan Fraser reads in a magical book causes it to appear in real life.

RT Freshness: 36%

Critic Consensus: “Heavy on cliches and light on charm, this kid-lit fantasy-adventure doesn’t quite get off the ground.”
