Pride & Prejudice & Zombies Coming Soon

If there’s one universal truth it’s that throwing zombies into something makes it infinitely more enjoyable and that was definitely the case with Quirk Books adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.  Written by Seth Grahame Smith, the book is Jane Austen’s original almost completely intact but now the Bennett sisters have to fight zombies in between hosting suitors and going to balls.  It’s pretty genius idea and it was recently announced that a movie version is in the works.  A number of studios are bidding for the rights and Natalie Portman is supposed to produce and star in it.  Richard Kelly, director of Donnie Darko and The Box, is supposed to be producing as well.
