Admit One 2/19

Only one new movie out in wide release this weekend but it’s the latest from Martin Scorsese.  It was supposed to be out last fall but got delayed until this weekend.  Was it worth the wait or did it get dumped?  Let’s see what the critics have to say.

Shutter Island

Plot: Two US Marshals head to the Shutter Island Mental Asylum to investigate the disappearance of one of the criminally insane inmates.

Critic Consensus: “It may not rank with Scorsese’s best work, but Shutter Island‘s gleefully unapologetic genre thrills represent the director at his most unrestrained.”
