- Bradley Cooper says A-Team 2 is a no go: During an interview with Empire magazine for Limitless, Bradley Cooper said that revenues from the first A-Team movie weren’t good enough to warrant a sequel, bummer.
- New Ninja Turtles cartoon coming to Nickelodeon in 2012: Nickelodeon bought the rights the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for $60 million and next year they’ll finally start capitalizing on that purchase. Nick has produced 26 half hour episodes and the look of the Turtles is like a more cartoony version of the CG turtles from TMNT.
- Stallone not directing or writing Expendables II: We got some news this week about the sequel to Everything Action’s Movie of the Year for last year. Unlike The Expendables, Sly will just be starring in the movie and he’s helping the studio find a director. Screenwriters Ken Kaufman and David Agosto will be writing the script.
- TeenNick bringing back tons of 90’s shows: Someone got our letters; TeenNick is going to soon be reairing a bunch of our favorite 90’s Nickelodeon shows in a Midnight to 2AM block called “The 90’s are All That”. Shows coming back to the airwaves include Rugrats, Pete & Pete, Kenan & Kel, All That, The Amanda Show, All That and Clarissa Explains It All.
- New Tomb Raider movie in the works: GK Films has acquired the rights to the Tomb Raider franchise and plans on rebooting the series, possibly with an origin/early adventure of Lara Croft.
- Lord of the Rings Extended Editions coming to Blu Ray: Amazon is taking pre orders on the Blu Ray release of the Extended Editions of the LOTR trilogy, although no release date has been announced yet.
