Battle at the Box Office 5/16

Thor managed to hold on to the top spot at the box office this weekend, despite a 48% drop from the previous week.  Thor made another $34.5 million and it was pretty much on par with previous Marvel movies second weekends.  Second place went to new release Bridesmaids, which was the highest opening for a Judd Apatow produced movie since Step Brothers with $24.4 million.  Fast Five dropped down to third with $19.5 million.   In fourth was the other new release, Priest, which grossed a disappointing $14.5 million and was worse than the opening weekend for Legion (which had the same star/director combo as Priest).  Rio held onto the fifth place spot to round out the top five.  The only major shift was Jumping the Broom, which fell from third to sixth.  Obviously, Pirates is going to be the top movie this coming weekend, but can it reach the stratospheric levels of the previous movies?
