Fall TV: ABC Shows

Upfront trailers/promos continue today with a look at some of ABC’s new shows.

Just like “Grimm”, which is coming to NBC this fall, Once Upon a Time is another “Legally different enough from Fables” fairytale show that follows the clash of cultures when fairytale creatures flee to the real word after an Evil Queen takes over their land. The show is being written by Tron: Legacy/Lost writers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis.

The other trailer that ABC released is for their reboot of Charlie’s Angels. The new Angels are Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh and, unlike the original, aren’t cops but criminals/n’er do wells who are recruited by the mysterious Charlie to be a mercenary team for hire. It’s set in Miami, they’re helping people with problems, does this sound familiar to anyone else? (I’m sure Fiona could kill all three of them without breaking a sweat)
