Batman: Year One Trailer
Debuting at Comic Con in a few weeks and then, hopefully, arriving on DVD/Blu Ray shortly after is the latest DC Animated movie, this time based on one of the greatest Batman stories ever, Frank Miller’s Year One. Year One follows a young Bruce Wayne after he arrives back in Gotham after journeying around the world training after the death of his parents. The story also follows the first year of Jim Gordon in Gotham City and Selina Kyle’s transformation from prostitute to thief/vigilante Catwoman. The art style of the comic looks like it’s translated beautifully to the animated form and the movie boasts, for the most part, a great voice cast including Bryan Cranston as Jim Gordon, Eliza Dushku as Selina Kyle and Katee Sackhoff as Detective Sarah Essen. The only thing I’m worried about is Ben McKenzie as Batman/Bruce Wayne, he sounds really bored in the trailer but hopefully it will be decent in the movie. Check out the trailer below.
