It’s like summer clean up this week for new releases as a bunch of the smaller movies from the summer are getting released, along with one of the biggest, inexplicable, hits and you can also own all of Smallville.

Changing it up this week as we’re not featuring a specific movie or composer but rather the amazing music video for the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage”, which pays homage to pretty much every 70’s cop show.

A trio of family films debuted over the Thanksgiving weekend and while Muppets came the closest, none of them were able to beat Breaking Dawn Part 2 at the box office.

The arrival of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the early 90’s spawned a bunch of imitators, some good, most bad. Since the TMNT are clearly the best anthropomorphic animal team in existence, we thought we’d take a look at some of the other teams out there and see if there’s any that can stand up with the pizza loving OG’s.

You apparently can’t go wrong with any of this week’s new movies, as the “worst” reviewed movie is at 92%.

On this week’s Thanksgiving edition of the Everything Actioncast the trio of Zach, Chris and Joe talk about the c-level disasters of Daylight and Vertical Limit, well zombies, the religious experience of The Expendables 2 poster, Dark Knight Rises and what Batman has been doing for 8 years since The Dark Knight and our favorite Muppets, Seasame Street and Muppets movies.

For this Thanksgiving week, some more of this summer’s movies are out on Blu Ray, including Pick of the Week Super 8 as well as some new additions to the Criterion Collection.
