Branded Trailer

Remember that Treehouse of Horror episode of The Simpsons where the advertising characters came to life and wrecked havoc.  If you combine that with Hulu’s “we’re evil aliens sucking out your brains” ad campaign, I think you get Branded, coming out later this year.  From what I can gather from the trailer, Max Von Sydow has created some sort of code that allows advertising to become evil, living creatures that suck things out of people’s brains.  Our hero seems to be the only one who can see these ad creatures and must figure out a way to stop them before the entire world becomes mindless zombies.  It looks really weird and it’s also one of those “filmed in Eastern Europe” movies like The Darkest Hour and the various Steven Seagal DTV movies.  Check out the trailer and decide for yourself and the movie is out this September.
