Here Comes the Boom Trailer

Kevin James went from a mall cop to a zookeeper to a UFC fighter in the upcoming MMA comedy, Here Comes the Boom.  James plays a high school teacher who starts fighting in order to earn enough money to keep the school from cutting all it’s extracurricular activities due to budget cuts.  Thankfully, he has his friend Bas Rutten to train him and sexy fellow teacher, Salma Hayek, to inspire him.  If you were wondering why Warrior came out last year and had to make up it’s fake Spartan tournament, it’s because the UFC backed the Here Comes the Boom pony.  Besides Rutten, it appears that other MMA fighters who will appear include Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Ken Dietrich and I’m sure Joe Rogan, Mike Goldberg, Dana White, Bruce Buffer and all the other UFC personalities will show up at some point will show up at some point.  It looks like it could be kind of funny, I just don’t know if it’s possible to get over the realism stretching required to see Kevin James as a competent MMA fighter.  You can check out the trailer below and the movie is out this October.
