Steven Spielberg looking for Chris Hemsworth to star in Robopocalypse: Spielberg’s next movie after Lincoln is an adaptation of the novel Robopocalypse by Daniel H Wilson. The book and movie will follow the classic storyline of humans creating robots to make our lives easier and increasing their intelligence until they decide to take over and a war between man and machines begins. Spielberg wants Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, to star in the movie.
McG to produce live action version of internet animated short “Ruins”: Ruins debuted on a number of film blogs a couple months ago and was made by award winning animator Wes Ball and some shots were even used in the trailer for NBC’s Revolution. The movie is set in a post apocalyptic world where vegetation has started to reclaim the cities and a few people struggle to survive while avoiding roving sentry robots. Kenneth Branagh directing and co-starring in “Jack Ryan”: The prequel/reboot the franchise based on the series of Tom Clancy novels has Chris Pine starring as the eponymous CIA agent and it was revealed that Thor director, Kenneth Branagh, will be directing and co-starring as the villain of the film.
Thor: The Dark World villains might have been revealed: A stuntman was talking with a film blog and mentioned that he and a number of other stunt people are going to play elves and, with the subtitle, many people have extrapolated that this might mean that Dark Elves will be the villains of Thor 2, led by Malekith the Accursed.

Andrew Stanton signs on for Finding Nemo 2: Pixar is going whole hog into sequels with the Toy Story trilogy, Cars 2, Monster University and now, Finding Nemo 2. Original director Andrew Stanton is signed on to direct the sequel. The original Finding Nemo is being re-released in 3D this fall.
