Origin: Leatherface was raised by a cannibalistic and inbred family in Texas, the Sawyers, who murder people and use the bones to decorate the inside of their home and the “meat” to make various dishes. Leatherface has a number of different skin masks, made from his victims, that he wears depending on his mood.
