July closes out with not too much in the way of new releases but there is a new edition of Total Recall just in time for the new one this Friday.

Silent Hill returns to the big screen this Halloween with Revelation and the third game’s heroine, Heather, must journey to the cursed town to rescue her father and defeat the evil Pyramid Head.

The Wachowskis attempt to tell a story spanning all of human history with Cloud Atlas, starring Tom Hanks and Halle Berry and starting in prehistoric times and going all the way to the crazy, anime inspired future.

Not a lot of news this week but there was some wheeling and dealing from Dreamworks, some casting news and some popular animated characters getting their own movie.
