Red 2 Trailer

In 2010, there was a trend of the bigger action movies of that year being teams of mercenaries with The Losers, The Expendables, The A-Team and Red.  Expendables was the most successful of the group surprisingly Red wasn’t too far behind and the sequel is coming this Summer.  Bruce Willis is back as Frank Moses, trying to live a normal life with new girlfriend Sarah (Mary Louise-Parker) when he learns there’s a hit out on him and he’s roped into heading to Europe with unstable fellow retired CIA agent, Marvin (John Malkovich).  Morgan Freeman is not back but Helen Mirren is and the newcomers are Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Byung-hun Lee.  The first movie was decent and it was fun seeing Oscar nominees and winners like Mirren, Freeman and Malkovich blasting away with machine guns but I’m wondering if the novelty has worn off?  The movie is out in August and you can check out the trailer.
