Fall TV 2013: Fox
Fox is in kind of a weird, middle of the road sort of position as they are not in the dire straits of say, an NBC, but none of their shows are exactly setting the world on fire, ratings wise. They scored some internet cred last fall by letting Fringe end instead of outright cancelling it and have some comedies that are doing reasonably well, with their Sunday night animation block being as solid as it always is. The Following is also a modest success but has been upstaged by the far superior Hannibal in the serial killer genre of shows. Fox’s new offerings are very heavy on the procedural side, with the one that looks the most interesting being “Almost Human” from JJ Abrams, starring EA favorite, Karl Urban. As far as I can tell, there wasn’t any info about their mysterious Saturday night block of animation yet but we’ll update if they announce anything solid. *UPDATE* There’s a new trailer for Axe Cop, which seems to be the flagship show for ADHD. Check out all the promos for their new shows below.
