Sharknado Sequel is Coming!

You just can’t keep a good thing down.

Syfy announced today that a sequel to their wildly popular cultural phenomenon, Sharknado, will be coming to Syfy in 2014.

The premise? A tightly guarded secret for now, but it’s safe to assume that will involve a tornado of sharks, better known as a Sharknado. What we do know, however, is that Sharknado 2 (working title) will take place in New York City. Please, no “Big Apple” jokes, ok?

It gets better though. Syfy has announced a contest to name the sequel — apparently Sharknado 2 doesn’t have enough balls — via twitter. So all you cool kids and snarky fans should sound off! Just hit up @SyfyMovies on Twitter with the hashtag #Sharknado for your chance to name this toothy behemoth.
