Everything Action Theater: Agents of SHIELD Pilot

Probably the most anticipated show of the new season finally debuted last night with Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.  Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) is back following is supposed death in The Avengers and is now leading a team of specialists to deal with all the weird fallout from the Battle of New York.   The team includes pilot Melinda May, science experts Fitz and Simmons, all business field agent Ward and hacker Sky.  In this first episode, Coulson’s team is investigating a new super powered individual who may have gotten his powers through nefarious means.  There’s lots of great references to the other Marvel movies and Clark Gregg carries the show handily with Coulson’s trademark mix of dry humor and bad assery.  If you’re a fan of the Marvel movies, you owe it to yourself to check out this first episode, which you can below thanks to Hulu and the show is on Tuesdays at 8 PM on ABC.
