  • NBC and David Goyer creating Constantine TV Show: With news of a possible Agent Carter show from Marvel and Gotham coming to FOX, the small screen is going to be as filled with comic book characters as the big screen and added to the mix is that David Goyer and NBC are planning a Constantine show.  John Constantine, for those that don’t know, is a British demon hunting sorcerer, who most people probably know from the pretty decent Constantine movie starring Keanu Reeves.  It will most likely follow “case of the week” formula with Constantine investigating strange magical events and demons.
  • Martin Freeman starring in FX’s Fargo show: Billy Bob Thorton will be the villain of the show based on the Coen Brothers classic crime caper and now Martin Freeman will be taking on one of the starring roles, playing the character of Lester Nygaard, played by William H. Macy in the movie.
  • Bryce Dallas Howard may star in Jurassic WorldThe former Gwen Stacy may be taking on dinosaurs as Bryce Dallas Howard is apparently close to starring in the upcoming Jurassic Park 4, Jurassic World.  There’s apparently another lead to cast and then the movie will move into pre-production.
  • Christoph Waltz and Emma Stone may join Tarzan: There’s a new live action reboot of Tarzan in the works over at Warner Bros, with Alexander Skarsgard in the title role and now apparently WB is looking at Christoph Waltz to play the main villain and Emma Stone as Jane.
  • New Vince Gilligan show heading to CBSWith Breaking Bad ending in less than 72 hours, every is watching to see what creator Vince Gilligan is going to do next.  He’ll be executive producing Better Call Saul for AMC and he just signed a deal with CBS for a show called “Battle Creek”.  The show follows two detectives with clashing personalities in the Michigan town of the title.  Gilligan apparently had a pilot for the show ready to go in 2002 but it got dropped and he went on to create Breaking Bad.
  • Pacific Rim is a massive international hit:   While it did OK here in the states and was a favorite of pretty much everyone who saw it, Pacific Rim is apparently a gigantic hit internationally, making over $305 million outside the US.  Combined with it’s $100 million take in US theaters, that puts it close to almost half a billion in gross, hopefully meaning a sequel will be on the way in the near future.
  • World of Warcraft movie looking to cast Colin Farrell and Paula Patton:   The long gestating WoW movie is finally getting underway and casting wise, Legendary is apparently looking to cast Colin Farrell and Paula Patton in the lead roles, which there aren’t any details about.  Duncan Jones of Moon and Source Code is set to direct the movie.
  • Star Wars: Rebels gets voice cast: The upcoming Disney XD show that will take place between the prequel and original trilogy has announced that David Oyelowo, Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Taylor Gray and Steven Jay Blum will be among the voices in the show.
