The Spoils of Babylon Trailer

In the grand tradition of 80’s mini series like The Thorn Birds comes The Spoils of Babylon, from executive producers Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.  The miniseries is based on the best selling series by author Eric Jonrosh (Ferrell), which follows the incredible life of Devon Moorehouse (Tobey Maguire), whose father (Tim Robbins) is an oil tycoon.  His sister Cynthia (Kristen Wiig), runs the business when their father dies.  It looks completely ridiculous in the best way possible with drug addiction, war, secret labs, double crosses, affairs, etc and feels a lot like Walk Hard with it’s era spanning storyline.  The miniseries starts in January on IFC and you can check out the trailer below.
