Fall TV 2014: ABC
ABC keeps chugging along with their soapy dramas like Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy and Revenge and are adding a bunch of new comedies to try and balance things out this Fall.

Fox has a bunch of new dramas like the trippy looking Wayward Pines, Ancient Egyptian set Hieroglyph and BBC remake Gracepoint but also comedies like Mulaney, starring, obviously, John Mulaney.

NBC is on fairly solid footing with their dramas like The Blacklist, Grimm and Hannibal so it seems like their main focus this fall is new comedies.
Battle at the Box Office 5/12
Spider-Man fell to the combined power of Zac Effron and Seth Rogen as Neighbors had one of the best R rated comedy openings of all time while the other two releases bombed horribly.

Hitting the same year as the movie, Weird Al turned Jimmy Webb’s “MacArthur Park” into “Jurassic Park” for the main single off of the Alapalooza album.
