Revenge of the Green Dragons Trailer

Martin Scorsese is the producer of something that is definitely in his wheelhouse, an 80’s crime drama set in NYC.  A Chinese gang called the Green Dragons sets up shop in the city and, among other nefarious activities, starts a human trafficking operation.  Ray Liotta co-stars as the detective working the case against them and the movie also stars Harry Shum Jr, Justin Chon, Kevin Wu and Shuya Chang and it’s directed by Andrew Lau, who directed Internal Affairs that Scorsese remade into The Departed.  It looks cool and it seems like there’s going to be lots of shootouts and dealings going on.  It’s going to be premiering on DirecTV after the Toronto Film Festival in September and then it will hit theaters in October.  Check out the trailer below.
