DC Finally Unveils Full DCU Plans

DC finally revealed how they are going to compete with Marvel by revealing their plans for movies through the year 2020 during the Warner Bros annual shareholder meeting.  Zack Snyder will be directing Batman v Superman and also Justice League, which is now going to be divided into two parts a la Harry Potter, Twilight and Hunger Games.  Get the full list and details below.

  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” directed by Zack Snyder (2016)
  • “Suicide Squad,” directed by David Ayer (Ayer was confirmed in the press release released today)(2016)
  • “Wonder Woman,” starring Gal Gadot (2017)
  • “Justice League Part One,” directed by Zack Snyder, with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams reprising their roles (2017)(Still no story details about who will show up in either part)
  • “The Flash,” starring Ezra Miller (Miller is an indie actor from movies like Perks of Being a Wallflower and We Need to Talk About Kevin)(2018)
  • “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa (2018)
  • “Shazam” starring The Rock as Black Adam (2019)
  • “Justice League Part Two,” directed by Zack Snyder (2019)
  • “Cyborg,” starring Ray Fisher (2020)
  • “Green Lantern” (2020)
  • There are also solo Superman and Batman movies, starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck respectively, that will come out sometime before 2020.
