Marvel Unveils Phase 3 of the Cinematic Universe
Marvel saw DC’s announcement a few weeks ago about their plans through 2020 and raised them by announcing the movies that will make up Phase 3 after Phase 2 culminates next summer with Age of Ultron and Ant-Man. Here’s what we can expect from Marvel through 2019
- Captain America: Civil War: May, 6 2016 (Starring Chris Evans and featuring Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark and introducing Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo)
- Doctor Strange: November 4, 2016 (Directed by Scott Derrickson, possibly with Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role)

- Guardians of the Galaxy 2: May 5, 2017 (Directed by James Gunn, starring Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper)
- Thor: Ragnarok: July 28, 2017 (Starring Chris Hemsworth)
- Black Panther: November 3, 2017 (Starring Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther)
