Cinderella Trailer

After atempting to reboot the Jack Ryan series earlier this year, Kenneth Branagh tries his hand with another reboot over at Disney with the new live action Cinderella.  Unlike this year’s Maleficent, Cinderella looks an extremely straight forward retelling of the fairy tale, with Lily James in the title role, Cate Blanchett as Ella’s wicked stepmother, Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother and Richard Madden (aka Rob Stark) as the handsome prince, Kit.  The trailer actually goes through the basic story to almost the conclusion, so I don’t think Disney is really trying to hide anything regarding the plot and it’s more about just seeing the classic story in live action.  Cate Blanchett could potentially have some fun scenery chewing but other than that, it doesn’t seem that interesting.  It’s out in March next year and you can check out the trailer below and decide for yourself.
