February Movie Preview

February 6th

• Jupiter Ascending: The latest from the Wachowskis is set in a bright and colorful future, where a young destitute caretaker gets targeted by the ruthless son of a powerful family that live on a planet in need of a new heir, so she travels with a genetically engineered warrior to the planet in order to stop his tyrant reign
• Seventh Son: A veteran warrior and a new recruit, both of who are mystical seventh sons of seventh sons, must join forces to prevent an evil witch from destroying the world.
• Spongebob Squarepants: Sponge Out of Water: Spongebob and his friends must enter the real world to save Bikini Bottom from an evil pirate, who has a magical book that allows him to write anything and have it come true.

Febraury 13th

• Fifty Shades of Grey: The insanely popular Twilight fan fiction turned original S&M smut arrives on the big screen as a young literary student comes under the influence of mysterious billionaire, Christian Grey.
• Kingsman: The Secret Service: Based on the Mark Millar comic, Matthew Vaughn directs this spy/action movie that finds a young recruit entering the secret world of Britain’s Kingsman, who defend the world from various threats.

February 20th

• The DUFF: Mae Whitman, of Arrested Development, is a high school senior who learns that she has been the DUFF (Designated Ugly, Fat Friend) for her entire time in high school.
• Hot Tub Time Machine 2: The gang, minus John Cusack, is back and try to travel back in time to prevent Lou from being killed by an assassin but, instead, find themselves in the future.
• McFarland, USA: Kevin Costner is a gym coach in a small town in California who discovers a group of runners with potential to be champion cross country runners and tries to get a team created.

February 27th

• Focus: Will Smith is a veteran con man who takes on an apprentice (Margot Robbie) but things become complicated when they become romantically involved.
• The Lazerus Effect: Olivia Wilde and Mark Duplass lead a team who are trying to develop a serum to bring things back to life but things go horribly wrong.
