Thunderbirds Are Go! Trailer

For most of us, the original 60’s Thunderbirds was the weird puppet show that Team America was making fun of but the team is getting updated for a new series on the UK’s ITV in the Spring.  Following the International Rescue Team consisting of the five Tracy brothers (Scott, Virgil, Alan, Gordon and John), the group responds to disasters and other threats around the world using their high tech Thunderbird vehicles and come up against the nefarious Hood, who wants to foil the do-gooding Thunderbirds.  The new show is obviously CG and not the puppets of the original and features the voice talent of Thomas Brodie-Sangster, David Menkin, David Graham, Rosamund Pike and Andres Williams.  There’s no word on whether it will get a US release date but you have to expect it to come to Netflix or Hulu at some point or possibly get picked up by a US network for rebroadcast.  In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
