SPL 2: Rise of Wong Po Trailer

10 years ago, SPL: Kill Zone came out of Hong Kong starring Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung and was a cops/gangster martial arts action flick and now this summer in Hong Kong SPL 2 is coming out, with Tony Jaa in the lead.  Jaa is a prison guard who gets roped into an insane plot with the promise that he can get help for his daughter, who needs a bone marrow transplant.  Sammo Hung and Simon Yam are back from the first SPL, and martial artists Wu Jing and Zhang Jin co-start with Jaa.  After he kind of went insane, it’s great to see Jaa back elbowing and kneeing people, either in China or Thailand or here in the states in Furious 7.  SPL 2 is coming out at the end of July in China and there’s no US release date as of yet, but you can check out the trailer below.
