The Knick Season 2 Trailer

Cinemax hasn’t really been known for prestige television but that changed last year with The Knick.  Starring Clive Owen and with every episode directed by Steven Soderbergh, the show is set in the early 20th century at the Knickerbocker Hospital where surgery is in it’s grisly early days and the social and racial issues of the day don’t help the already high stakes.  The second season begins on October 16th and Steven Soderbergh is back to direct and Clive Owen’s Dr. John Thackery continues to try and push the boundaries of medicine while dealing with his new heroin addiction (which was used in a rehab facility to treat his cocaine addiction).  Check out the trailer below.
