Ash vs Evil Dead Invades New York Comic Con
Hail to the King, Baby… Ash vs Evil Dead is Coming!
A new still from the upcoming series gives us everything you’ve come to expect from the classic Evil Dead series: Boom sticks. Chainsaws. And of course… Attitude.
Ash has it, baby.
Are you headed to New York Comic Con this year? Ash vs Evil Dead will host a panel in the Hammerstein Ballroom as well as autograph signings.
The panel will include Executive Producers and original filmmakers Sam Raimi (!), Bruce Campbell (!!), show runner Craig DiGregorio… Plus cast members in addition to Campbell, including Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, and Dana DeLorenzo.
Located at the Inner Roadway, a killer Ash vs Evil Dead experience will be waiting. The attraction will include Ash’s trailer, his bloody chainsaw, and prizes for the bravest souls.
Ash vs Evil Dead is the long-awaited follow-up to the classic horror film The Evil Dead. The 10-episode first season of the half-hour series is executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell—the original filmmakers. Craig DiGregorio serves as executive producer and show runner.
The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Burn Notice) reprising his role of Ash Williams, the stock boy, aging lothario, and chainsaw-handed monster hunter. For 30 years, he has turned his back on responsibility, maturity, and the terrors of the Evil Dead.
Rounding out the cast are Lucy Lawless (Salem, Spartacus) as Ruby… A mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks… Ray Santiago (Touch, Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick… Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past… And Jill Marie Jones (Sleepy Hollow) as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero, Ash, and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner.
Ash vs Evil Dead premieres, October 31st at 9pm only on STARZ.
