Eye in the Sky Trailer

We’ve already seen a drone operator based drama this year with Ethan Hawke’s “Good Kill” but Aaron Paul is in the pilot’s seat next year for the much tenser looking Eye in the Sky.  Unlike Good Kill, which tried to show the emotional struggle of a drone pilot, Eye in the Sky seems like it’s focused on one specific mission to identify a possible terrorist target and whether the fire order should be given or not when evidence of an impending suicide bombing is found.  Helen Mirren, Alan Rickman and Iain Glenn co-star and it almost has a kind of Crimson Tide vibe as the various military and government officials debate back and forth on whether they should take out the target, even if it means an innocent girl is killed in the explosion.  It’s out in March next year and you can check out the trailer below.
