Spielberg and Disney Team for the First Time With Roald Dahl’s BFG (Trailer)
It’s pretty surprising that Steven Spielberg has never directed a movie for Disney but that changes next summer as he adapts Roald Dahl’s classic novel, The BFG, into a live action 3D adventure (another first for Spielberg). The book and movie both follow Sophie, a ten year old girl who befriends The BFG or Big Friendly Giant (voiced by Mark Rylance) who takes her on trips to Giant County and Dream County but their adventures draw the unwanted attention of other giants (Bill Hader and Jermaine Clement) and The BFG and Sophie must convince the Queen (Penelope Wilton) that Giants exist and they have to stop them. The movie is out in July of next year and you can check out the trailer below.
