We’ve Got Peak Statham in Mechanic: Resurrection (Trailer)

Jason Statham is back as hitman Arthur Bishop in the sequel to 2011’s The Mechanic, Mechanic: Resurrection.  This time around, Bishop’s girlfriend (Jessica Alba) is kidnapped and he’s forced by a powerful group to kill a series of targets in a designated time frame or else she dies.  Tommy Lee Jones, with a crazy soul patch, is one of the targets but Bishop fakes his death in order to get his help.  It looks like any resemblance to the Bronson original that spawned this new franchise has been washed away for pure, 100% USDA Statham action with a bunch of awesome stuff, including the opening infinity pool kill.  The movie is out in August and you can check out the trailer below.
