Spend Christmas with Bryan Cranston and James Franco in Why Him? (Trailer)
Bryan Cranston has been sweeping up Emmy wins and Oscar noms for his dramatic work in things like Breaking Bad and Trumbo but he’s always been one of the funniest actors around as well, going back to Malcolm in the Middle and the lovable doormat that was Hal, and now he’s getting his best chance in a while to flex his comedic chops opposite James Franco in this winter’s Why Him? Cranston plays Ned, an overprotective dad whose darling daughter (Zoey Deutch) is dating a ridiculous, foul mouthed internet billionaire, Laird (Franco). Ned and the rest of the family visit Laird’s mansion for the holidays and Ned is horrified to learn that Laird is planning on popping the question and wacky hi-jinks ensue. Megan Mullally, Keegan Michael Key, Adam Devine and Casey Wilson co-star and the movie is directed by John Hamburg, who directed the hilarious I Love You, Man and co-wrote the Zoolander and Meet the Parents series. The movie is out on Christmas Day and you can check out both the Red and Green band trailers below.
