James McAvoy Shows Off His Many Sides in Split (Trailer)

M. Night Shyamalan gained back some slight credibility with The Visit from last year, that was a huge improvement over the garbage he had been pumping out for the few years before that.  Coming in September this year, he’ll try to keep the momentum going with Split.  James McAvoy stars as Kevin, a man with 23 different personalities, kidnaps a trio of young girls and claims they are being prepared for a very special purpose.  The girls are horrified by all the changes and one personality, The Beast, is still dormant but on the verge of awakening and taking over.  Anna Taylor-Joy from The Witch emerges as the main girl who the others look to to try and get them out.  It looks pretty interesting and James McAvoy is really pulling out all of his acting tricks playing all the different characters.  Check out the trailer below.
