Kate Beckinsale Tries to Get into The Disappointments Room (Trailer)

Put on the shelf for two years since Relativity Media went through bankruptcy, The Disappointments Room is out in limited release and VOD this fall.  Kate Beckinsale stars as the mother of a family that moves into what they think is their dream home but, in true horror movie fashion, horrific things start happening and Dana (Beckinsale) discovers a locked room in the attic that she becomes obsessed with getting open.  There’s hints in the trailer that something might have happened to her in the past and there’s sure to be some sort of twist about the true nature of the house and the room.  Wentworth Miller, of Captain Cold and Prison Break fame, co-wrote the script and DJ Caruso, who also helmed Disturbia and the upcoming XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, is directing.  It’s out on September 9th and you can check out the trailer below.
