Nocturnal Animals Trailer
Tom Ford, fashion designer turned movie director who previously brought us A Single Man, is back in November with the stylish looking thriller Nocturnal Animals. Amy Adams plays Susan Morrow, who receives a manuscript of a book written by her ex-husband, to whom she did something unforgivable in their past. Jake Gyllenhaal plays Tony, the protagonist of the manuscript Susan is reading, whose family is brutally assaulted along a roadside by attackers led by Aaron Taylor Johnson. Michael Shannon plays the local cop investigating the crime in the novel’s story and Laura Linney, Andrea Riseborough, Michael Sheen and Armie Hammer have cameos as well. It looks very Nicolas Winding Refn and the audience who saw it recently at the Toronto International Film Festival said it looks amazing but doesn’t really have anything important to say, even though it may think does. It’s out in November and you can check out the trailer below.
