Resident Evil: Vendetta Heads Back to It’s Roots (Trailer)

Announced at the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom is teaming up with Marza Animation Planet for a new CG Resident Evil movie and it looks like it’s taking things back to the series roots, at least setting wise.  The new movie follows Chris Redfield as he investigates a new creepy mansion while Leon Kennedy is off doing secret agent stuff in another location.  Rebecca Chambers is also involved and it seems like Wesker might be behind things as usual.  There’s not too much details, unless you can read Japanese, but the movie is out next year in Japan and probably soon afterwards here in the US and other territories.  It would be really bizarre if this didn’t come out in time for Resident Evil 7 but we’ll have to wait and see.  For now, check out the first trailer for Resident Evil: Vendetta below.
