Musical Montage: Ramin Djawadi
Easily one of the best composers in recent years, Ramin Djawadi has delivered iconic and epic scores for shows like Game of Thrones and Westworld and movies like Pacific Rim and Iron Man. Discovered by Hans Zimmer, Zimmer put him under the tutelage of his protege Klaus Badelt until Djawadi struck out on his own to do his first major score for Blade: Trinity with The RZA and developed a strong relationships with David S. Goyer, as he collaborated with Goyer on The Unborn and the show FlashForward. Djawadi has almost single handedly brought back the notion of the TV theme song, as the Game of Thrones theme has seeped into popular culture and will go down as one of the greatest of all time but he also created the themes for shows like Prison Break and Breakout Kings.
