Dunkirk Trailer Shows Us WWII From Christopher Nolan
After taking us into the depths of deep space in Interstellar, Christopher Nolan returns to Earth for the dramatic story behind the Dunkirk evacuation in the early days of World War II, where over 400,000 Belgian, British and French troops were evacuated from France in 1940 after German troops cut them off on all sides following the disastrous Battle of France. The movie follows the troops waiting for evacuation and trying to survive endless attacks by German planes and Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance, Henry Styles, James D’Arcy, Tom Hardy and Jack Lowden star. Much like his other films, the movie will be available in 70mm, 35mm and IMAX for theaters that have those formats and they’ll most likely get the movie early on July 19th next summer if they do while the rest of the theaters in the country will get it on July 21st next summer.
