October Movie Preview
October 2016 is strangely lacking in horror movies, as only Ouija: Origin of Evil is coming out and instead there’s a bunch of action/thrillers, like The Accountant, Inferno, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, The Girl on the Train and comedies like Keeping up with the Joneses and Boo! A Madea Halloween.
Battle at the Box Office 10/3
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children took the top spot at the box office but it opened about the same as Dark Shadows while Masterminds had one of the worst openings for a 3,000+ theater opening and Deepwater Horizon was below the last Peter Berg/Mark Wahlberg collaboration.
