Fassbender Tries to Escape the Criminal Life in Trespass Against Us (Trailer)
After playing father and son in Assassin’s Creed, Michael Fassbender and Brendan Gleeson are back this year for the drama Trespass Against Us. Fassbender is a second generation criminal pulling robberies and getaways for his father (Gleeson) but he wants to get out for the sake of his son and so his son won’t join the family business but Gleeson will not let him leave easily. There’s also a cop on Fassbender’s trail played by Rory Kinnear. I get a very Place Beyond the Pines or Drive feel from this one and it screened at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and will be in limited release and on VOD on January 20th. Check out the trailer below.
