Up to Speed: The Americans Season 5

One of the absolute best shows on TV is back tonight on FX when Season 5 of The Americans kicks off.  Following 80’s Russian spies Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and Philip Jenner (Matthew Rhys), who have pretended almost their entire lives to be a married American couple who run a travel agency in the Washington DC while running operations for the Soviet’s “Directorate S” agency.  Last season up the stakes to a somehow higher level than ever before as Philip and Elizabeth’s main mission was to get a fellow agent, William (Dylan Baker) into a highly classified facility to get a sample of US biochemical weapons back to Russia while on a personal front, their teenage daughter Paige (Holly Taylor) learned her parents true nature and seemed to be making her steps into following them into a career in espionage.  If you need a refresher of the major plot points of Season 4, check out the video from FX below and Season 5 starts at 10 pm on FX.
