Baywatch is Back in a New, Full Trailer

With CHIPs hitting theaters this weekend, it seems like Paramount wanted to make sure you didn’t forget about the other R rated reboot of a cheesy classic, as the full trailer for Baywatch dropped.  Starring Dwayne Johnson taking over for The Hoff as Mitch Buchannon, leader of the elite Baywatch lifeguard team that needs to “revitalize the brand”, which leads to disgraced Olympian Matt Brody (Zac Efron) to be recruited onto the team for the PR.  Immediately bumping heads, Matt and Mitch have to work together when they discover a criminal operation being run on their beach by the stylish but deadly Victoria Leeds (Priyanka Chopra).  Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Jon Bass, Rob Huebel and Ilfenesh Hadera round out the cast and King of Kong/Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon is behind the camera.  It’s definitely trying to cash in on the success of 21/22 Jump St and hopefully with The Rock in the lead it will at least be as good as those movies.  It’s out on May 26th and you can check out the trailer below.
