Jackie Chan Seeks Vengeance in The Foreigner (Trailer)
Jackie Chan movies are normally pretty light hearted and wacky, with Jackie’s sense of humor and incredible action set pieces to guide you through but it looks like he’s changing things up by teaming up with Martin Campbell, director of Casino Royal and Goldeneye, for The Foreigner. Chan plays the father of a girl killed in a terrorist bombing in London and demands the names of the people responsible from a government official, played by Pierce Brosnan, who may have ties in his past to the group responsible. Chan will stop at nothing to get those names and things escalate between the two men. There doesn’t seem to be any humor in Chan’s character and he’s more like Liam Neeson, using his past skills as a special forces commando to try and force the names out of Brosnan and take out the men sent against him. The movie is out on October 13th and you can check out the trailer below.
