Bronson is Probably Spinning In His Grave at this New Death Wish (Trailer)

The reboot of Death Wish has been in limbo for years, going through multiple directors and originally had Liam Neeson potentially taking over for Charles Bronson but now we have Eli Roth behind the camera and Bruce Willis as the new Paul Kersey and, oh boy, does it look terrible.  None of the Death Wish movies are high art but the first is at least an attempt at some drama and Bronson has some moral struggle with avenging his family but here, Bruce not only seems totally fine with it but is actually having fun murdering random criminals in Chicago while dropping terrible one liners, something Bronson didn’t really do until maybe the last few Death Wishes when he was blowing up whole neighborhoods with a rocket launcher.  The music choice for the trailer is highly inappropriate as well and they seem to be selling this as a fun romp which is offensive on pretty much every level. We’ll find out just how bad this thing is going to be in November and you can check out the trailer below.
