Amazon Explores the Stories of Phillip K. Dick in Electric Dreams (Trailer)

Blade Runner 2049 is in theaters right now and with anthology series also back in a big way in recent years, Amazon is diving into more of Phillip K. Dick’s work for a new original series, Electric Dreams.  Featuring 10 different episodes based on Dick stories, the show has an all star cast including Bryan Cranston, Terrence Howard, Greg Kinnear, Anna Paquin, Mireille Enos, Timothy Spall, Richard Madden and many more.  It looks like they are definitely going for a Black Mirror sort of vibe but Black Mirror owes a huge debt to Phillip K. Dick, so it’s kind of like a snake eating it’s own tail but the show looks really good.  With the cast and the depth of Phillip K. Dick’s work, I’m definitely intrigued.  The show arrives next year on Amazon Video and you can check out the trailer below.
