Chris Hemsworth Goes to War in 12 Strong (Trailer)
After going to war with Hela in the upcoming Thor: Ragnorak, Chris Hemsworth will be fighting a more grounded battle in January’s 12 Strong. Coming from Jerry Bruckheimer and first time director Nicolaj Fuglsig, Hemsworth stars as Captain Mitch Nelson, who is leading the first Special Forces team into Afghanistan following 9/11 on a mission to get aid from the Northern Alliance against the Taliban and, to gain the trust of Northern Alliance General Dostum (Navid Negahban), they must learn the traditional way of fighting from horseback. Michael Shannon, Taylor Sheridan, Michael Pena, Elsa Pataky, William Fichtner and Rob Riggle co-star and it looks sort of in the vein Michael Bay’s 13 Hours, even sharing a similar sort of “The Declassified True Story” marketing. It’s out on January 19th next year and you can check out the trailer below.
