It’s Upfront time again as the major networks reveal what new shows they have coming in the fall as well as confirming what’s coming back and what’s not from their current crop of shows and NBC kicked things off.

Guardians Vol. 2 remained at the top of the box office for another weekend while King Arthur suffered a massive disaster of an opening which could potentially lose WB over $150 million.

Smash Mouth was all over movie soundtracks in the 90’s, including the 1998 teen comedy Can’t Hardly Wait with “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby”

Judge Dredd and Deadpool are coming to the small screen, the first two New Mutants are cast, Jackie Chan and Stallone are teaming up for the first time and more in this week’s News Shotgun.

We’re watching 1994’s Blank Check for this month’s Everything Action commentary, a cheesy favorite of 90’s kids everywhere as 11 year old Preston Waters accidentally gets $1 million when he commits check fraud and walks away with a criminal’s fortune.

It seems like seeing Guardians Vol. 2 again is your best bet this weekend has both King Arthur and Snatched have come up rotten according to the critics.

The possible “real” inspiration for King Arthur, Artorius Castus leads a group of Roman cavalry who protect Hadrian’s Wall from the invading Saxons.

Not much out this week but we do get the Definitive Director’s Cut of Heat, some TV seasons like the first season of HBO’s Divorce, weird cosmic horror with The Void and a few more things.
