Michael B. Jordan Wants to Burn in the New Fahrenheit 451 (Trailer)
HBO is bringing the Ray Bradbury classic Fahrenheit 451 back in an updated adaptation starring Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon. Jordan is a rookie fireman name Guy Montag, which in the dystopian future of the novel and movie means someone who burns books as they’ve been outlawed and Shannon is his superior officer, Captain Beatty. Montag starts to question their mission and begins to illegally steal books from their various missions and comes to realize their incredible worth to the world, but that puts him directly in the path of his fellow firemen. Sofia Boutella, Lilly Singh and Laura Harrier co-star. The movie is directed by Ramin Bahrani, who directed Shannon in 99 Homes, and it’s hitting HBO in May. Check out the trailer below.
