Clive Owen Goes Black Mirror with Anon (Trailer)

With a concept seemingly out of it’s fellow Netflix original Black Mirror, Clive Owen stars in the sci-fi thriller Anon, which arrives on Netflix in May.  Owen is Sal Frieland, a detective who lives in a world where there is no such thing as privacy or anonymity, everything is recorded and everyone is identifiable at all times thanks to ocular implants (a Black Mirror favorite) but someone seems to be hacking into Owen’s eyes and altering his perception and his investigation leads him to The Girl (Amanda Seyfried), a hacker who is hired to erase memories and evidence for her clients.  Her clients are starting to turn up dead and she is the main suspect but the pair must work together to find out what is really going on.  Andrew Niccol is behind the camera and no stranger to high concept sci-fi worlds with movies like Gattaca and In Time.  The movie arrives on Netflix on May 4th and you can check out the trailer below.
